Visit Manhattan has secured an agreement with the National Association of Farm Service Agency County Office Employees for a late-summer 2019 convention to be held in Manhattan. The probable economic impact of the estimated 500-person convention has been calculated at $1 million.

Manhattan Conference Center will host the gathering July 29 – August 3, 2019.

For six decades, NASCOE has been granted exclusive recognition to represent full-time county office employees, primarily in negotiation with management on terms of employment and working conditions. The organization will celebrate its’ 60th anniversary during the summer of 2019 in Manhattan. NASOE is composed of five area offices and serves as the national affiliate of the various state associations, which organized in 1958.
