The Junction City Lady Jay track team that captured the Class 6A State Championship received a warm round of applause Friday evening when they were introduced at the Al Simpler Stadium between the first and second quarters of the Blue Jay football game.

Seniors in band, cheer, dance, cross country and girls tennis were also recognized, along with the 97th Military Police Battalion.

Friday evening was Military Appreciation Night at the Stadium.
