Staff Sergeant John Hylander, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, has been named the noncommissioned officer of the year at Fort Riley.

The Army made the announcement during a Victory Week ceremony on the Cavalry Parade Field on Friday and via social media on the 1st Infantry Division Facebook page.
