Two officers from the Junction City Police Department were honored at the Kansas Juvenile Officers Association Awards Banquet.

Jay Wigton was awarded the DARE Officer of the Year for 2017; and Eddie Torres was named the School Resource Office (SRO) of the year for 2017.

The conference was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lawrence on Thursday, July 20th.
