The Junction City Blue Jays rallied late to defeat Shawnee Heights 8-7 in game one of their baseball doubleheader at the Lake Shawnee Bettis Family Sports Complex in the Topeka Area.

Junction City is 5-5 on the season.

The Blue Jays are scheduled to host Topeka West in a doubleheader Friday at Rathert Field.
