The Fort Riley Middle School cross country teams competed in the North Central Kansas League meet in Concordia on Thursday.

According to coach Ryan Norton, the Troopers 7th grade boys and 8th grade girls cross country teams won league titles. The 7th grade girls and the 8th grade boys placed second in the meet.

David Denkler of Fort Riley Middle School finished first in the 7th grade boys 1600 meter race in 5:43.37 and Alexander Nieves fourth in 6:14.89. For the 8th grade girls team Katelin Hecht finished third in 14:05.14. Analiese Santoro finished seventh in 15:25.66. For the 8th grade boys Jeyden Lowe finished third in 12:36.42. For the 7th grade girls team Morgan Turner finished third in 6:39.34.
