“All of our kids really enjoy running down here at Council Grove. It was also a perfect day to run. The temperature was in the sixties and there was no wind. So far this year we have been working pretty hard, as I have had two-a-day practices since the beginning of school. Everyone one of our boys and girls have bought into training hard this season and I believe it is beginning to pay off. Today everyone on the Bomber cross country team ran their best times of the season! With only two weeks until league and three week until the regional meet, it is good to see everyone’s time beginning to come down. If we can get and keep everyone healthy at the end of the season, I feel we can have a good showing at our league meet as well as at our regional.” – Coach Braden
The Wakefield Bombers will head east 20 minutes to Leonardville on Saturday morning October 8th for the Riley County Invitational.
