Jammin in JC, the Blues and Barbecue festival is Friday night and Saturday afternoon and evening in downtown Junction City.

Coordinator Bob Cevera said setup preparations begin Thursday morning with Sixth Street being closed from Washington to Jefferson.  There will be more street closures on Friday. “Friday, early in the morning closing off Fifth Street from Jefferson to Washington. And we’ll shutting off Jefferson from Fifth Street all the way down to Seventh Street, and that’s for barbecue people.”

Jammin in JC concerts begin at 5 p.m. Friday and resume at 1 p.m. Saturday, continuing into Saturday evening.
