Coach Braden, “On the boys’ side, freshman Dalton Murray continues to run well for the Bombers as he ran his third race of the year under twenty minutes. Senior Cole Barber looked good in his first race of the year as he ran just over twenty-two minutes. Senior Kirk Iseli also ran well as he ran two minutes faster than he did last week in Washington. Sophomore Kevin Jackson, despite being hampered with tendonitis, competed hard and finished the race. We were missing senior Johnathan Bowen and senior Jordan Colglazier today and are in hopes of having them back for next Thursday’s race in Belleville. For the girls, freshman Dakota Swader, junior Mary Williams, junior Ana Hughes, and senior Sierra Otto all improved on their times over last week’s race in Washington. Time wise, all of our runners are headed in the right direction. We simply need to get everyone healthy and put it all together for one meet.”
The Bombers next cross country meet will be Thursday, September 22nd when the Bombers travel to Belleville for the Republic County High School Invitational Cross Country Meet.
