Construction activity on US 77 Highway at Rucker Road on the west side of Junction City has advanced to a point where the traffic signal at that intersection is to begin operation in the next week.

KDOT said currently, the ongoing rains have delayed the final striping of US 77. Once that has been completed Junction City will activate the signal lights.
