USGS: Small earthquake shakes north central Kansas

ELLIS COUNTY – A small earthquake shook residents in north central Kansas on Wednesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The 3.5 magnitude  earthquake was centered 4.3 miles north of Ellis at 7:12 a.m

According to the USGS, a quake of that strength results in weak to light shaking.

No damage or injuries have been reported.
