The  Friends of Animals “Blessing of the Animals” will be Saturday, October 1 from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. in Heritage Park in Junction City.

The event commemorates the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of all Animals.

You can have your pet blessed by local clergy. There will be free St. Francis medallions for the first 100 pets. This is a free event.
