The Fall Apple Day Festival on Fort Riley is this Saturday, September 10th. 
This free festival is open to the public with events taking place from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
Apple Days is the largest annual festival at Fort Riley, with an average of 7000 attendees.
This year will feature:
- Commanding General’s Mounted Color Guard Demonstrations
- Helicopter and tank displays
- Petting zoo
- Museum gift shop
- Military working dog demonstrations
- ATV rodeo
- Food and information booths
- Antique military vhicles
- Rope and candle-making demonstrations
- Historical reenactos
One of the most anticipated attractions will be the apple pie sales from the Historical and Archeological Society of Fort Riley. 
Parking for the festival is free and golf carts will be available to transport those with walking difficulties.
No pets or alcohol are allowed at the festival.

Visitors must enter Fort Riley through the Henry Gate at Exit 301 off of Interstate 70.
