SSG (Ret.) Morton Lee Berry, 81, of Junction City, died August 30, 2016 at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 at the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery at Ft. Riley.  Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard from Ft. Riley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association, sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Junction City Funeral Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS 66441.

Wanda L. Hood, 85, of White City, KS, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Via Christi-St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at the Parkerville Baptist Church, 407 Parkerville Street, Parkerville, KS. Pastor Steve Strom will officiate. A luncheon will follow the memorial service at 12 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to be given to the Parkerville Baptist Church. Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, Junction City, KS is handling arrangements.
