• Saturday, August 20th:  Color Dash hosted by Young Professionals of JC, at 4725 W. Rolling Hills (location of Thunderbird Marina and RV Resort); Packet pick-up for racers begins at 7:00 am and the Color Dash begins at 9:00am; for more information click here
• Saturday, August 20th:  Junction City Caring Place Fundraiser Golf Tournament at Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Milford; registration at 8:00 am and tournament begins at 9:00 am; for more information click here
• Saturday, August 20th:  Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Grand Reopening at Thunderbird Marina and RV Resort at 1:00 pm; located at 4725 W. Rolling Hills in Junction City 
• Saturday, August 20th:  Float Your Boat Cardboard Boat Races at Milford Lake from 2:00 – 5:00 pm; for more information click here
• Saturday, August 20th: After the completion of the first week of practice JCHS football will host a scrimmage at 8:30 am with a family picnic to follow around noon; this is not the traditional blue and white scrimmage, just a back to school week event
