Ash Street east of US 77 in Junction City has reopened to traffic on Wednesday.

KDOT said the roadway will be limited to one lane eastbound and one lane westbound. The new right turn lane will be shut off until other work is complete. This section of Ash will still require a one-and-a-half inch overlay after both sides of US 77 have been completed, but will be done by the use of flaggers at that time.

Work will continue on the east side of US 77 between Goldenbelt Boulevard and Ash Street. An update will be provided when work advances to the west side of US 77.
