The Geary County Commission sitting as the Board of Canvassers, reviewed the votes Monday from last week’s primary election.

County Commission Chair Florence Whitebread noted there were no changes in overall outcomes of any race. In the Third District County Commission Republican primary election Keith Ascher finished with 224 votes and John Moyer 203 votes. No Democrat filed for election to that seat.

In the 68th District House race in Geary County alone Nicholas Allbritton received 400 votes, Dave Baker 332 and Vance Donahue II 19. Baker was the overall winner of that four-county race, however. He received more votes in Morris, Dickinson and Chase Counties.
