JC Post has confirmed with Junction City police dispatch that an accident occurred in the McFarland Road – U.S. 77 Highway area Friday afternoon.

Only a few details are available at this time, but dispatch confirmed one person was transported to Geary Community Hospital. The accident was reported to authorities at approximately 3:15 p.m.
