GEARY COUNTY- A Junction City teen was injured in an accident just before 8:30a.m. on Sunday in Geary County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1990 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Jeryl Keth Denton, 19, Junction City, was eastbound on Interstate 70 and exited at Humboldt Creek Road.

The rider lost control on the ramp. The motorcycle entered the north side of the ramp and the rider was ejected.

Denton was transported to Geary Community Hospital.

He was wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
