Warm Weather to Continue

The rest of the work week will be quiet with a gradual warming trend into the early weekend according to the National Weather Service of Topeka. The chances for storms returns late Saturday and continues through Tuesday. A few storms could be strong to severe. With several rounds of rain flooding will also be possible.FileL (8)

Today: Sunny. Highs around 70. North winds 5 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Clear. Lows in the lower 40s. North winds up to 10 mph in the evening becoming light.

Thursday: Sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. West winds up to 5 mph.

Thursday Night: Clear. Lows in the lower 50s. South winds up to 5 mph.

Friday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon.

Friday Night: Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 60s.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 80s.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. A 40 percent chance of rain showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 50s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 70s.
