The Kansas City Royals doubled up Oakland 4-2 as Edinson Volquez combined with three relievers on a six-hitter. Eric Hosmer hit a solo homer and Kendrys (KEHN’-drees) Morales went 3-for-4 with an RBI to back Volquez, who allowed two runs and four hits.
