Warm Up Expected Following Early Morning Cold Snap

We’re off to a chilly start this morning with temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s, but we’ll be rebounding into the 60s by this afternoon according to the National Weather Service of Topeka. The combination of dry conditions and some occasional gusty winds will result in Very High Fire Danger across north central KS this afternoon. The warming trend will continue through the remainder of the week with high temperatures into 70s by Wednesday. Conditions will remain dry for the next few days with the next chances for precipitation being Friday into the weekend.FileL (13)
