A status check Dale Alan Holvorson, 49, Junction City was held in Geary County District Court on Thursday.

Holvorson was recently arrested in connection with alleged child pornography possession and distribution. The prosecutor in the case, Michelle Brown, confirmed as of Thursday morning two formal court charges had been filed in the case…one count each of Sexual Exploitation of a Child for Distribution, and Sexual Exploitation of a Child for Possession. Eleven additional charges on both allegations are expected to be filed.

A new status hearing has been scheduled on April 7 in Geary County District Court. Holvorson has been assigned a public defender.
