More than 100 1st Infantry Division soldiers returned home early Monday morning to Fort Riley from a nine month deployment to Kuwait.

While deployed, the soldiers were responsible for planning, oversight and resources for troops in five countries and 13 locations.

This was the final large group with that deployment to return to Fort Riley.
