In order to comply with federal Real ID Act standards, Fort Riley will require additional identification for visitors with an Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico or Washington driver’s license, starting March 1. People from these five states visiting the installation will need to provide an alternate form of identification for unescorted access.
These include but not limited to:
. U.S. passports
. Permanent resident card / Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form
1-551)
. Foreign passport with a temporary I-551 stamp or visa,
. An employment authorization document that contains a photograph
(Form I-766).
. School IDs containing the photograph, name and expiration date (for
school aged visitors only)
. Birth Certificate or document with a person’s full name and date of
birth.
. Utility bill or other documentation showing the person’s name and
address of principal residence (must match address on non-compliant DL)
. Vehicle registration with name and address (must match address on
non-compliant DL)
. Department of Veteran’s Affairs ID card
. Native American Tribal Photo ID
Visitors with a valid Department of Defense-issued ID card are not affected
by this change.
