GRAY COUNTY- Law enforcement authorities in Gray County are investigating cases involving a skimmer at ATM machines.

The Gray County Sheriff’s Department told southwest Kansas residents to use caution when using a debit or credit cards at gas pumps and ATM machines, according to a social media report.

The sheriff department reminded residents in Cimarron and other areas to consider having a clerk use a debit or credit card inside the store instead of using the card reader at the pump.

They reminded residents to call the sheriff If they see suspicious activity at the pump or at the ATM and if the card reader sticks out or doesn’t look right or is loose report it as soon as you find it.
