Fire and EMS were sent to Washington Elementary School at 11:36 a.m. Friday. Students were evacuated from the building for about five minutes.

But checks with the Junction City Fire Department and police dispatch confirmed that it was a false alarm call. There were no injuries.

The Fire and EMS departed the school at 11:43 a.m.
