Bramlage Family Foundation to take Special Request to Board of Zoning Appeals

The Bramlage Family Foundation has a special request on the Junction City/Geary County Board of Zoning Appeals agenda for Thursday night.

The request calls for a reduction in the number of parking stalls theymunicipal building will be required to pave in front of the building at 935 East 4th Street. They are turning that building into a youth wrestling facility.

“They are asking to drop from the required 81 parking stalls, to reduce it down to 48,” said Dave Yearout, Junction City/Geary County Zoning and Planning Administrator.

During the November 17th Junction City Commission meeting the Bramlage Family Foundation explained that the facility wouldn’t need that large of a parking lot, and the cost of paving that size of a parking lot was not in their budget.

The MPC/Board of Zoning Appeals meets Thursday night at 7 pm in the commission room of the Municipal Building.
