Geary County Emergency Management Director Garry Berges said the Red Cross opened a warming facility for the public at the 12th Street Community Center Sunday evening.

Many locations in Junction City are still without electricity.

There will be cots available for those who need to stay overnight.

Officials stress….no pets allowed.
