A Junction City Thanksgiving tradition continues on Thursday.
The Community Thanksgiving Dinner is scheduled from 12 – 1:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church at 113 West Fifth Street. Coordinator Margaret Kilpatrick said meals that were pre-ordered will be delivered beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Of course, you can go to the church to eat the meal there. “We have candy yams, green beans, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, and we have all kind of pies. St. Paul Lutheran Church joined us this year, and they have made blueberry pie, cherry pie, and all kind of cakes, pecan pie, along with our pumpkin pie.” Turkey and ham are also on the menu.
There is no charge for a meal.
