According to the National Weather Service of Topeka, rain could come mainly during the late afternoon and evening hours. Best chance for a rain snow mix overnight. Very little if any snow accumulation is expect in KS. Cold airFileL (36) and gusty winds up to 40 mph behind this system will cause wind chills to reach the lower teens by Saturday morning.

Today: Cloudy. A 30 percent chance of rain in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50s. South winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 30 mph.

Tonight: Breezy. Mostly cloudy. Chance of rain…possibly mixed with snow in the evening. Lows in the upper 20s. North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 40 mph. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.

Saturday: Colder…sunny. Highs in the upper 30s. North winds 15 to 20 mph shifting to the northwest 5 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Gusts up to 30 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 20s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: Not as cool. Sunny. Highs in the upper 40s. West winds 5 to 15 mph.

Sunday Night: Clear. Lows in the upper 20s.

Monday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 50s.

Monday Night: Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 30s.

Tuesday: Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s.
