The Geary County Sheriff’s Office previously reported the intentional burning of a 2008 Dodge Charger near Milford Lake that occurred on November 8, 2015 that was the property of Korey Wainwright.

Following an extensive investigation and the execution of a search warrant at 2524 Commonwealth Drive, Lot 18 in Junction City, on November 18, 2015 at 3:10 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Theodore John Adams (21) of Junction City on suspicion of Arson With Intent to Defraud, Conspiracy to Commit Arson, Conspiracy to Commit Felony Theft, Criminal Use of Weapons, Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Adams is currently being held at the Geary County Detention Center without bond pending a first court appearance. At least one suspect in the case remains at large.
