The keynote speaker for the Veterans Day ceremony in Junction City, Mary Burnham, was presented with a Quilt of Valor during the event at the C. L. Hoover Opera House Wednesday.

Burnham served in the Army Nurse Corps, and later as a public health nurse for the Junction City – Geary County Health Department, and a school nurse for Geary USD 475.
