National Weather Service Forecast

According to the National Weather Service of Topeka, a strong storm system will bring a chance for severe thunderstorms tomorrow from mid-morning to the afternoon hours. The better chances for these storms will be east of FileL (26)US Highway 75. The main hazards include damaging winds and hail, with a small chance for tornadoes. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued for tomorrow covering the entire area. Keep checking for updates to the forecast and stay weather aware.
Today: Partly sunny. Scattered sprinkles and patchy drizzle in the morning. Highs in the mid 60s. South winds 5 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Warmer. Mostly cloudy. A 20 percent chance of rain showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the mid 50s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the south 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 30 mph after midnight.

Veterans Day: Windy. Partly sunny. Chance of rain showers and thunderstorms in the morning…then slight chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 60s. Southwest winds 15 to 30 mph shifting to the west 25 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Gusts up to 40 mph. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.

Wednesday Night: Windy…colder. Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 30s. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 45 mph becoming west 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph after midnight.

Thursday: Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph increasing to 35 mph in the afternoon.

Thursday Night: Clear. Lows in the upper 20s.

Friday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 50s.

Friday Night: Clear. Lows in the lower 30s.

Saturday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 60s.

Saturday Night: Clear. Lows in the upper 30s.

Sunday: Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s.
