Furniture debris spilled on the highway led to four separate accidents on I-70 near the east side of Junction City Wednesday evening.
The Geary County Sheriff’s Department reported that Deputies responded to Interstate 70, mile marker 298 for debris in the roadway. On scene they learned that Bernard Rosey of rural Geary County was driving a Chevrolet Silverado when the un-secure load he was hauling spilled onto the highway, causing four separate vehicles to strike the debris.
There were no injuries reported.
The drivers whose vehicles hit the furniture included Brianna Beshirs of Junction City in a Hyundai Sonata, Donald Euler of Milford driving a Toyota Tacoma, Joni Parsons of Salina who was in a Toyota Camry, and Natasha Pumpkin Seed of Junction City in a Hyundai Sonata. All of the vehicles were removed from the scene by their owners.
