The Geary County Sheriff’s Department has reported that Deputies responded to a vehicle – pedestrian non-injury accident at 6th and Jefferson Thursday afternoon.

Catherine Jarnot, Milford, was driving a Saturn Ion when Betty Jo Youngfleish was crossing 6th Street at Jefferson. Jarnot’s vehicle bumped Youngfleish with the front bumper. There were no injuries, and no damage.

Deputies responded to a non-injury single vehicle accident near mile marker 296, eastbound I-70 on the south side of Junction City at 12:38 a.m. Friday. Heather Anis, Abilene, was traveling east in a Chevrolet Malibu when she struck a semi tire in the roadway.
