Applications for marketing grants of up to $1,000 are being accepted by the Geary County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

Connie Hall, CVB Director, said the deadline for application is 4 p.m. on Dec. 1.

“The program itself is designed to assist destination attractions, lodging, and or meeting facilities. ” A grant can be used to help develop their brochures and advertising.

Hall added the marketing grant program can also assist in promotion of attractions to visitors from outside the community, and is applicable to events for marketing outside the area.
