The 2015 Fort Riley Retiree Appreciation Day is scheduled at the Fort Riley Conference Center Oct. 23 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The event offers flu shots / vaccinations, retiree-specific information packets and booths, luch and speakers from the 1st Infantry Division, Irwin Army Community Hospital, TRICARE / healthcare experts, commissary and Exchange.

There is a luncheon scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. that features Lt. Col. ( Ret. ) Robert Komacki, talking about the “Lone Survivor of the Battle of the Big Horn.” Registration and payment for the luncheon must be sent to the Fort Riley Retirement Services Office no later than Oct. 16.
