The Geary County Commission had some discussion about 4-H during their meeting on Monday.

Commission Chairman Ben Bennett explained that 4-H Clubs are looking into developing an exchange program with other states.

“They said Dickinson County has had a couple of successful programs over the summer and so our 4-H extension group is looking into maybe taking a group of kids and exchanging with a different state,” said Bennett.

The Commission received that information on Monday.

They have also set the dates for the 2016 Geary County Free Fair for July 18-21.
