The Geary USd 475 Board of Education has approved the sale of the Junction City High School construction house at 1220 North Eisenhower for $120,500.

The house was built during the last school year by JCHS students.

The Boe approved the disposal of playground equipment from the old Fort Riley Elementary School, plus Milford, Washington, and Franklin Elementary Schools to the City of Milford and the Apostolic Academy. Those entities will remove the equipment at no cost to USD 475.

The district was unable to re-purpose the items because the cost of moving and bringing it up to ADA standards at a new site would have been more expensive than purchasing new equipment.
