“A Quilt of Valor is a lifetime award made to a military service member or veteran by grateful civilians. ”
The program dates its’ history nationally back to 2003, and since then more than 123,000 quilts have been awarded. The Central Flint Hills area Quilt of Valor will award more than 100 this year.
