Junction City Blue Jay and Lady Jay cross country runners competed in Hays on Thursday.

In the girls 5A – 6A race Myrissa Humphreys finished first in 16:25. Also medaling for the Lady Jays in that race Leah Ervin finished 11th in 17:45 and Breanna Jensen 14th in 18:04.

For the Blue Jay boys Nick Arneson finished fourth and medaled with a clocking of 17:14.

Junction City finished third in the 5A – 6A girls race, and fourth in the 5A – 6A boys race.
