The 2015 Post 45 17U Tournament gets underway at Rathert Field Thursday evening.

This year the tournament features eight teams split up into two pools. Pool A features the Junction City Blues, Paola, Marion and Riley County. Pool B features Emporia, Manhattan, Alma-Wabaunsee and the Topeka Senators.

Junction City kicks off the tournament against Riley County Thursday in a 5:30 p.m. first pitch. The second game Thursday puts Manhattan against Alma-Wabaunsee in a 7:45 p.m. first pitch.

Action picks back up again Friday with games scheduled all day. Junction City will play in the night cap Friday against Paola, first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m..

Teams will play there final pool play games on Saturday with Junction City taking on Marion in a 6:00 p.m. matchup.

The Championship round will be held Sunday with the 7th place game starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by the 5th place game at 11:15 a.m., the 3rd place game at 1:30 p.m. and the Championship game at 3:45 p.m. at Rathert Field.
