Ten Kansas State football players have earned preseason honors as various college football magazines have released their Preseason All-american and All-Big 12 teams.
Seniors Dante Barnett and Cody Whitehair both received All-Big 12 accolades from all the major preseason publications, which include Athlon, Lindy’s Sporting News and Phil Steele. Whitehair was also named a Preseason All-American by Athlon, while Lindy’s named him the eighth-best offensive tackle in the nation. Lindy’s also touted Barnett as the fourth-best safety in the country entering 2015.
In addition to earning Peseason First Team All-Big 12 honors from Phil Steele, Gronkowski was regarded as the ninth-best NFL talent in the Big 12 according to Lindy’s.
Other KSU players garnering Preseason All-Big 12 recognition include defensive tackle Travis Britz, Kick Returner Morgan burns, punt returner Dominique Heath, linebacker Elijah Lee, place kicker Matthew McCrane, cornerback Danzel McDaniel and fofensive lineman Boston Stiverson.
