According to a financial report on USA Today of the NCAA universities, K-State is in the top 50 for total revenue. K-State is ranked 43 in the list of 230 universities that responded to USA Today’s open-records requests. 
Kansas State received $72,935,044 in total revenue in 2014, which is over $2 million over the revenue of 2013. Only 1.85% of K-State’s revenue comes from subsidies. K-State also reported $62,576,606 in total expenses. K-State’s total revenue in 2005 was $39,884,219.
Texas is ranked second on the national list and leads the Big 12 with a total revenue of $161,035,187 in 2014, followed by Oklahoma at 11 on the list with a revenue of $117,803,302.
