The Junction City Brigade won their season opener Wednesday night in Rossville. The Brigade defeated the Rattlers 5-2.

Brigade got the win. Bret Nickle hit a two-run home run for Junction City.

The teams are scheduled to play a doubleheader Thursday night in Rossville. The home opener for the Brigade is at 7 p.m. Saturday at Rathert Field.
