In an effort to prevent spring and summer injuries, Irwin Army Community Hospital will host a Summer Safety Day.

This event May 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. will be free and open to the public.

Some of the organizations planning to attend range from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks to the Motorcycle Mentorship Group.

This event is scheduled in the Irwin Army Community Hospital parking lot at 600 Caisson Hill Road at Fort Riley.
