The Geary County Sheriff’s Department reported that Deputies responded to mile marker 96 on K-177 at 12:39 a.m. Monday for a single vehicle injury accident.

Heather Emberry, Manhattan, was operating a Chevrolet Traverse when she swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle entered a ditch, striking a rock wall. Non-life threatening injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
