The two 2014 Volunteer of the Year recipients were Antje Meyer and Lori Post. The Distinguished Auxilian award winner was Dottie Letellier. Fifty-four volunteers were recognized for 11,709 hours of service in 2014.

Post has dedicated hundreds of hours to the pediatric office at GCH. She performed all of the duties of an office employee by filing, pulling charts and answering phones. Meyer volunteered for the Auxiliary in several capacities and does several things for the hospital as well.

Letellier has been an Auxilian for six years, and contributed to the Auxiliary and GCH both locally and at the state level. Dottie spent hours in 2014 ensuring the GCH Auxiliary’s compliance to receive state level awards. She also filled the void of the scrapbook position and also works the hospital information desks. Distinguished Auxiliary recipients are recognized for their contributions to the GCH Auxiliary and their willingness to remain active.
