Kendrys Morales hit a solo homer and Lorenzo Cain drove in a pair as Kansas City doubled up the Los Angeles Angels 4-2 Friday night in Anaheim to stay unbeaten with a 4-0 record. Jason Vargas allowed two runs and five hits in six innings for the win.

The Royals and Angels play game two of the series Saturday night and game three Sunday afternoon.
